Beginning after the Celebration of the 20th Anniversary of Providence, we opened Imagination Station, a place and time to think, pray, and plan together about the future of Providence. We  for weeks in various settings thinking about the past, the present, and the future of our congregation. Details on the work in Imagination Station can be found HERE.

But work in the Station (as we called it) gave rise to a new commitment to SING FOR JOY  and LIVE WITH HOPE. This phrase (and the need of the church) has inspired us to launch a six-month journey (beginning in January of 2022) to congregational renewal: a revival, we might say. ; This journey is to be shaped by our Sunday morning worship, during which our pastor Dr. Dwight A. Moody will be preaching from The Letter to the Philippians. We will sing songs that fill us with joy and hope; we will plan events that express our joyful, hopeful spirit; we will distribute witness materials that share this spirit with others who are seeking a way to sing for joy and live with hope; and we will dedicate ourselves to allow our Lord to do in us, among us, and through us the good gospel work that our community and our country need. Come and join us on this journey!! You are welcome here!

Now unto God who is able to do immeasurably more than all we ask or imagine, according to the power that is at work within us, to God be glory in the Church and in Christ Jesus throughout all generations, forever and ever! Amen. (Paul the Apostle, in the Letter to the Ephesians 3:20-21)
