Serving God and Following Jesus at Providence House

Providence is a congregation in the Baptist tradition with ecumenical sympathies and liberal convictions.

  • We emphasize lay leadership working in cooperation with ordained leadership.
  • We believe all people have gifts and callings God wishes to use to carry out gospel work in the church and in the world.

Our lay leaders include a Coordinating Council elected annually by the congregation. Ministry teams are created by congregational volunteers to carry out the practical work of the church.

The picture above includes those who have served Providence as either pastor or interim pastor.

I see and feel the Spirit in the love and outreach of each of the congregants, and I look forward to serving their spiritual needs. My goal is to continue the high quality of music that each are accustomed to, working collaboratively with all to celebrate our faith and extend ourselves to our community. Together we can joyfully lift our voices with open minds, open arms, and open hearts.
